Journey to the West characters take the subway

Crowded Beijing subway carriages, but all the passengers are mythological figures (such as Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie). The scrolling screen at the carriage connection displays red text: "Passengers traveling to fetch scriptures from the Western Heaven, please note: next stop is Gaolaozhuang." Warning signs are stuck on the train door glass: "Use of magic within the carriages is prohibited."
